Heeding a Mother's Cry

My inspiration to start this immigration services business is not just a story; it's a deep echo from the past, a cry from our mother's grave that has shaped my core purpose. As an immigrant myself, my family's difficult journey to the United States has left a lasting mark on me, especially the hardships faced by our beloved mother.

She arrived on a visitor's visa, her heart broken by the tragic loss of two children to political violence in Jamaica. Though she initially found some hope with employer sponsorship with her two youngest children (sons) as beneficiaries, one of them aged out. The road ahead was filled with more heartbreak. For ten years, she waited tirelessly to bring four children here, only to face a series of obstacles: the heartbreaking "aging out" of petitions, high legal fees, a lack of knowledge about available immigration options, and confusing legal advice which dealt a further blow - a son’s marriage revoked his petition, and yet again, he lost out. Then, the ultimate tragedy: Mom’s passing. Her death automatically revoked the approved I-130 petition for my brother!!

I have seen firsthand the heavy burden of high costs, the lack of awareness about vital immigration relief, and the absence of advocacy and follow-up that many immigrants face. This troubled me deeply. I saw people frozen by uncertainty, unsure of where to start, preyed upon by those who "guaranteed" success for high fees.

It is well known that those who successfully navigated USCIS or the immigration courts often had professional help. However, to avoid the unauthorized practice of law, real and effective support can only come from an immigration attorney or a Department of Justice (DOJ)- accredited representative*. This was not just an observation; it was a pivotal moment that motivated me to follow this path, ensuring no family has to face this journey alone again. **This is still a work in progress**

Our team

We founded this immigrant-serving non-profit organization in honor of our mom, inspired by her immigration journey, to help those seeking immigration services achieve the American Dream! Our strength lies in our individuality. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. The team is all about family, with each of us joining hands and hearts to provide ethical professional support services in our respective areas of expertise.
